who’s ethics?

Can photographs of poverty stand alone or should viewers know what went into creating them? Is it possible to overlook potentially controversial practices in photographing poverty, if those practices resulted in positive social change?

This is an exploration and dissection of the methodologies of three photographers, who each approached the subject matter of poverty in their own unique ways.
